Harnessing Creativity to Change the Trajectory of Your Life

Last Saturday I was invited to speak at a TedTalk-like event in partnership with Rotaract Clubs Diego Martin and Piarco-University of the West Indies, Trinidad, Trinidad and Tobago.

The event was advertised to the general public with a reservation of over 80 young adults between the ages of 18 and 33. So here I was the afternoon before my speech looking at the other speakers and determining the relevance of this chosen topic.

At the age of 23, I already had my mind made up on where I wanted to pursue my Masters, but my pursuit of happiness didn’t carry the same conviction. I used my personal experiences to highlight the need for creativity in your routine as it helps us to build a sense of self efficacy and improve confidence. When we do something different, it creates a feeling of excitement.

My Live Video discusses some of the tips I shared with the audience that evening.

  • Physical Fitness and Walking up Lady Chancellor in Trinidad
  • Mindful Colouring with the London Girl Gone International
  • Dinner and Dialogue:  A Business Networking Event
